Who operates Elsewhere

Elsewhere Travel is currently operated by an individual based in Albania, not by a registered company. The operator’s personal legal name and any legally required contact address have not yet been published. Privacy requests can be submitted through our private contact form. This identification section requires further review under applicable law.

Information you provide

When you submit a destination review, the display name you choose, star rating, review text, destination and moderation status are stored in a Supabase-hosted database. Submissions are initially pending editorial approval. Approved review names, ratings and text may appear publicly. Please do not include sensitive personal information in a review.

Contact form messages

When you use our contact form, your name, email address, selected subject and message are submitted to Formspree for delivery to the Elsewhere inbox. Formspree processes these submissions under its own privacy terms. We use the information to respond to inquiries, corrections and privacy requests. Do not submit sensitive personal information.

Information stored in your browser

Saved destinations, itinerary notes and comparison preferences may be stored locally on your device. Shared itinerary links can reveal the destination IDs included in the URL to anyone who receives the link.

Hosting, analytics and external services

Cloudflare Pages serves this website, and Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled to help us understand site usage. Some photographs are served from external image providers, including Unsplash; some are hosted locally with attribution to Wikimedia Commons contributors. Map features may request tiles from OpenStreetMap services. When external content loads, its provider may receive network information such as your IP address, browser details and referring page, subject to browser settings and provider policies. Guide reviews are processed using Supabase. External booking, mapping and search links lead to third-party sites with their own privacy practices.

Advertising

Google AdSense advertising is not currently enabled. If advertising is introduced, this notice and any required consent choices will be updated before activation.

Your choices and rights

You can clear locally saved information through website controls or your browser settings. Applicable privacy laws may give you rights to access, correct or erase personal information and to object to certain processing. For privacy requests, use our private contact form and select “Privacy request.” The operator identity and applicable response procedures still require completion.
