Terms of Use.

Last updated: 5 November 2026. These terms explain the rules for using Elsewhere Travel, an independent travel-discovery website operated by an individual based in Albania. By accessing or using the website, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you disagree, please do not use the site.

Travel information, not professional advice

Our guides, destination listings, suggestions and maps are for general inspiration and information. We aim for accuracy but cannot guarantee that details are complete, current or error-free. Prices, opening hours, access, transport, entry requirements, weather, safety conditions and local regulations can change. Check important information with official providers and authorities before booking or traveling. You are responsible for your own travel decisions.

Using the website

You may browse and use the site for lawful personal purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, access nonpublic systems without permission, impersonate others, send spam, upload unlawful material or misuse forms and community features.

Contact messages and future community features

Visitors may send corrections, suggestions and inquiries through the contact form. Please submit only information you have the right to share, and do not send unlawful, infringing or sensitive material. Contact messages are private correspondence and are not published merely because they were submitted. Individual field guides offer a community review form. By submitting a review, you confirm that it is your own contribution, that you have the right to share it and that it does not infringe others' rights. Reviews are submitted for approval and may be rejected or removed for unlawful, abusive, misleading or inappropriate content. You retain ownership of your contribution and grant Elsewhere a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, moderate and display the submitted review on the website, to the extent permitted by law. Approved reviews may be displayed with your chosen name and rating; please do not include sensitive personal details.

Photographs and intellectual property

Site design, original writing and original editorial materials may be protected by intellectual-property rights. Third-party photographs and other media remain subject to their respective creators' rights and licenses. Credits or availability on this website do not grant you permission to reuse third-party material. Please contact us if you believe any material infringes your rights.

External links and services

The site may link to booking platforms, map providers, accommodation providers and other external websites. We do not control their content, availability, prices, privacy practices or terms. Transactions with third parties are between you and those providers. Commercial relationships, if any, are addressed in our Affiliate Disclosure and Advertising Disclosure.

Availability and changes

We may correct, update, suspend or remove site features or content. We may revise these terms; updated terms will be published here with a new date. Changes do not override rights you have under applicable law.

Responsibility and legal rights

We provide the website on an as-available basis and do not promise uninterrupted operation or guaranteed travel outcomes. To the extent allowed by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses arising solely from reliance on general travel information or from third-party services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer or data-protection rights.

Privacy and contact

For information about personal data, browser storage and third-party services, read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Questions, correction requests and rights-related inquiries may be sent through our contact form, which uses the third-party Formspree service. The website is operated by an individual based in Albania; additional legally required operator-identification details remain to be established and published where applicable.
